About Me

In my current role as General Manager of Oz Lotteries, I oversee daily operations and lead a team of cross-functional managers to deliver a first-class retail experience to several hundred thousand customers annually while processing hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions.

I hold a Bachelor of Information Technology, Business/Commerce, and have utilised it across my career to develop web applications that range from simple landing pages to complex e-commerce platforms servicing tens of thousands of customers and processing multiple millions of dollars a year.

When I'm not working, you can find me reading about the latest web development trends, experimenting with new technologies, creating learning content or practising my skills through personal projects.

I have a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and experience with modern frameworks such as React and Node.js. I am always eager to learn new technologies and stay current on industry trends.

I believe in the power of collaboration. I enjoy working with others to solve complex problems, and I have contributed to many open-source projects over the years.

General Manager OzLotteries

Jumbo Interactive

As General Manager of Oz Lotteries, I oversee the daily operations of Oz Lotteries, Australia's leading digital retailer of commercial and charitable lottery products. In addition to this business, I manage the Pacific Lotteries Network, a business operating in partnership with Government bodies across several pacific island countries and overseas Australian territories.

Head of Operations

Jumbo Interactive

As Head of Operations, I was responsible for establishing a standardised operating framework across the Jumbo Interactive group as it worked through consolidating companies acquired through recent M&A expansion activities. My focus was on ensuring continuity and preventing each acquisition's unique value to the broader group from being lost as it transitioned into the wider business.

Head of Client Success

Jumbo Interactive

As the Head of Client Success, I established the Jumbo Interactive Software as a Service (SaaS) business segment, working with several prominent Australian charitable lotteries to develop a standardised lottery platform. This platform allowed them to reduce operating costs and increase sales, resulting in millions of dollars in additional funds being raised for good causes that the lotteries support.

Product Manager

Jumbo Interactive

As the first Agile Product Manager at Jumbo Interactive, I was responsible for establishing a culture of agile development within the organisation. I then used this new framework to overhaul Jumbo's flagship lottery operations platform in order to address several issues limiting the company's ability to adapt and adjust to new business realities.

Team Leader

Jumbo Interactive

I guided, managed and led a seven-person development team working on Oz Lotteries, the company's flagship lottery website, as well as the organisation's accounting and payroll software to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Senior Project Officer

Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service

I worked as part of the head office Park Info team, developing mapping solutions for on-the-ground teams. These solutions helped to plan and manage the maintenance of critical government assets, plan and execute pest and weed management strategies, and effectively manage active bushfires and planned backburning activities.

Bachelor of Information Technology, Business/Commerce, General

James Cook University

I completed a Bachelor of Information Technology at the James Cook University in Cairns, Australia, with a secondary generalised focus on business and commerce.

During my studies, I contributed to an academic publication that discussed using real-world environmental equivalents to help users orient themselves and navigate virtual 3D environments. I also developed several virtual interface libraries that allowed mobility-impaired individuals to interact with 3D environments.
